What we collect

When you sign up for JourneyMap, we store your email address, the name you provide, and any profile fields you fill in (display name, title, pronouns, bio, time zone). We also store the canvases, journey maps, projects, and clients you create inside your workspace.

How we use it

We use your account information to operate the service — letting you sign in, sending you transactional emails (invitations, password resets), and grouping your work into the workspace you belong to. Content you create stays in your workspace and is only accessible to members of that workspace.

AI processing

When you use AI features (insight extraction, transcript analysis, codebase analysis), the relevant content is sent to Anthropic to generate the response. Inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models. We do not share your data with any other AI providers.

Where data lives

Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) hosted in EU data centres, with encryption at rest and in transit. Per-workspace isolation is enforced at the database level via row-level security.

Deletion & export

You can delete projects, canvases, and journey maps from inside the app — they go to Trash for 30 days before being permanently removed. To request a full account export or deletion, email hello@journeymap.ai.

Beta caveats

JourneyMap is in beta. The product is evolving quickly, and so is this policy. We'll publish a formal Privacy Policy before general availability. In the meantime, feel free to email us with any specific question about how your data is handled.
